Hammel Scale is pleased to announce a major improvement to our existing Quality Program. We now offer ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Calibration services as a Mettler Toledo Distributor Field Representative. The accreditation is provided by A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation). This enhancement of our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing and calibration will officially take place March 10, 2008. We will continue to meet and exceed the same guidelines and requirements for accreditation to the standard as in the past. We will maintain training records, conduct internal audits, and participate in Proficiency Tests, and all other requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 as we do today.

This change will be beneficial to both our customers and Hammel Scale, in that A2LA has been the "industry standard" since the conception of the ISO/IEC 17025 requirement. This move also allows Hammel Scale to align itself, (and our customers), with Mettler Toledo's prestigious program. Mettler Toledo is the largest scale company in the world and has in place an outstanding Quality System.
